How the parts work together
Follow one sale through the business.
A customer pays at the till
M-Pesa confirms itself at the checkout and the receipt goes out on WhatsApp. On credit, it goes on the customer's account within their limit.
Stock goes down in that branch
The right batch is used first, expiry dates are watched, and every movement is recorded with who made it.
Running low becomes an order
The item joins a reorder list grouped by supplier. One tap sends the purchase order on WhatsApp, and the supplier confirms a delivery date.
Goods arrive and are checked

Questions
What is business management software?
Software that runs the whole business in one place rather than one task at a time: selling, stock, buying, money, staff, customers and branches. In BlueDuka each of these uses the same records, so a sale, a delivery or a payment updates every part that needs to know without anyone typing it again.
Is BlueDuka a POS or an ERP?
Both, and more. A shop can start with a simple point of sale and stock, and the same account can grow into wholesale, a full ERP with procurement, HR and payroll, or manufacturing with production and quality control, keeping everything it recorded. Restaurants and creative studios get their own screens.
Is it only for small businesses?
No. A duka can run on the Free plan, and a company with several branches, warehouses, departments or companies runs on the ERP plans with approvals, a headquarters view, several companies and an API.
Do we need to replace everything at once?
No. Start with what hurts most, often sales, M-Pesa and stock, and switch on more when you are ready. Your accountant can keep using Xero, QuickBooks or Sage with the export from BlueDuka's books.
How long does it take to start?
Most businesses sell on BlueDuka the same day: add products (or import them from Excel), add staff and start. Training for you and your staff is free on every plan. Connecting your own M-Pesa till or paybill takes a few steps with Safaricom first.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The Android, iPhone and Windows apps keep selling offline and send everything when the connection returns.
