Questions
Is there booking software for salons in Kenya?
Yes. When you sign up as a salon, barber or spa, BlueDuka switches on appointments: bookings by staff member and service, with each stylist's commission. It starts on the Starter plan, KES 799 a month.
Can it calculate each stylist's commission?
Yes. Set the commission rate, and BlueDuka works out what every stylist earned from the appointments they did and adds it to the pay sheet.
Can customers book online?
Yes. Share your booking link: customers pick a service, a stylist or anyone free, and a free time. They also see how busy the salon is right now. The booking shows in your Appointments straight away.
Some of my staff are on a monthly salary. Does that work?
Yes. Each person can be on a monthly salary, commission only, or a salary plus commission. Only the commission part is worked out from their appointments.
Can I sell hair products too?
Yes. Products and services are sold together on one receipt, and product stock goes down as you sell.
