POS for pharmacies, chemists and agrovets in Kenya
Expired stock is money thrown away. BlueDuka records the batch and expiry date of every delivery, sells the oldest batch first and warns you in time to sell the rest.

- Each delivery records its batch number and expiry date
- The batch that expires first is sold first
- Warnings before stock expires, with the value at risk
- A suggested clearance discount for stock close to its date
The rest of the shop
- Fast selling with barcodes, from a scanner or the phone's camera
- M-Pesa that confirms itself with your own till or paybill (Business plan)
- Customer accounts with credit limits, statements and WhatsApp reminders
- Suppliers, purchase orders, supplier bills and what you owe each supplier
- Staff permissions and an activity log of who did what
Tax and records
BlueDuka keeps double-entry books from every sale and expense, with VAT or Turnover Tax summaries and an accountant login (Business plan). Sending invoices to KRA eTIMS is an optional extra integration.
Questions
Can I track expiry dates of medicine?
Yes. Switch on expiry tracking for a product, and each delivery records its batch and expiry date. BlueDuka sells the oldest batch first and lists what is about to expire.
Does it work for agrovets too?
Yes. Agrochemicals, seeds and vet products work the same way: batches, expiry dates, units by piece, kilogram or litre, and customer accounts for farmers who pay later.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan lets one person try BlueDuka with 5 products and 10 sales in total, and every new account gets every feature free for a month, no card needed.
