Download BlueDuka
Install BlueDuka on your phone, tablet or shop computer. Without internet it keeps doing the daily work: selling and returns, the till, stock deliveries and counts, new products, expenses and clock-ins. Everything uploads when the connection is back.
Free to install: log in with your BlueDuka account. Your plan is the same on every device.
Android phones and tablets
BlueDuka for Android is downloaded from this page, not from the Play Store. It works offline, prints to Bluetooth receipt printers and scans barcodes with the camera.
- Open this page on the phone and tap Download for Android. If Chrome says the file "might be harmful", tap Download anyway: every app from outside the Play Store gets this message.
- Open the file from the notification or from Files > Downloads.
- If the phone asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps: Settings opens by itself; switch it on, then press Back.
- Tap Install. If Google Play Protect shows "Unsafe app blocked" or "App scanned", tap More details, then Install anyway. It warns only because BlueDuka is not downloaded from the Play Store.
- Open BlueDuka and log in. When a newer version is out, the app tells you and installs it over the old one, keeping your data.
If the phone still blocks the install
- Samsung (Auto Blocker): Settings > Security and privacy > Auto Blocker > switch it off, install BlueDuka, then switch it back on.
- Xiaomi, Redmi, Poco: if "Security scan" or "Protection" stops it, tap Continue installation or Install anyway; you may need to wait a few seconds.
- Tecno, Infinix, itel: in the Phone Master or "Unknown sources" message, allow your browser or Files app to install apps, then tap Install again.
- Oppo, Realme, Vivo: when it asks you to verify, tap Install anyway or enter your phone PIN.
- Only switch protection off for BlueDuka, downloaded from this page (downloads.blueduka.co.ke), and switch it back on after. Never install a BlueDuka file someone sends you on WhatsApp.
Windows computers
For the shop counter: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Works offline and prints to USB and network receipt printers.
- Click Download for Windows and open the file when it finishes.
- If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", choose More info, then Run anyway (the app is new to Windows; it is safe).
- Open BlueDuka from the Start menu and log in.
iPhone and iPad
On an iPhone or iPad BlueDuka installs from Safari as a web app. It opens from its own icon, full screen, and keeps selling without internet once you have opened it online.
- Open blueduka.co.ke/app in Safari and log in.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow), then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open BlueDuka from the new icon. Open it once a day while online so your products and prices stay up to date.
Safari works best. If you do not see Add to Home Screen, scroll down in the Share menu or tap Edit Actions.
Good to know
- Each plan allows a number of desktop computers; phones and tablets are not limited
- Offline, sales use the prices last downloaded, and the owner sees anything that went below zero stock
- The owner sees every device on the Computers page and can remove a lost one
